Miami Heat: Others Will Have To Step Up A Ton In Bam-less Time

That all goes to say that though the Bam-less time will have some spotty moments and even games, they still have enough talent to continue to compete. Here, “compete” doesn’t just mean hanging around, but continuing to build on what they’ve been doing.

It just means everyone will have to do a bit more and that’s only once you get your guys back that aren’t Bam Adebayo, which should be relatively soon compared to Bam. At worst, the Miami Heat will still be a top-six seed when Bam returns and you can book it.

Not only should they get other guys back before him, but their schedule gets a lot easier through January. They are also a pretty good team without Bam— once as whole as they can get sans him.

At the end of the day, that’s why this is the case. The next six weeks or so might not be entirely pretty, every game and in the way they have gotten people accustomed to seeing them at their peaks this year, but they’ll be more than fine until Bam is back.

In fact, they’ll still finish top-four or higher in the conference when it’s all said and done— and you can book that too.
