The Miami Heat got a huge win on Saturday night against one of the other top teams in the East. Though that team, the Chicago Bulls, are dealing with their own myriad of issues surrounding the NBA’s Health And Safety Protocols, the Miami Heat aren’t exactly healthy either.

Missing Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler, the Chicago Bulls actually still had more top-end talent available to them, having Nikola Vucevic, Zach LaVine, and Lonzo Ball going for their side. Well, they had LaVine on Saturday night, but the near future is bleak for him.

On top of one of their best players though, they have a plethora of bodies and guys already in the protocols. That goes for their absolute best player this season, DeMar DeRozan.

Total, it seems that they now have nine players in the Health And Safety Protocols. That seems to be almost half of the players that are in it right now— across the entire league.

With that though and with a game against the Miami Heat on Saturday, it was worth wondering how they would manage. Would they be able to go into Chicago, play the game, and get out without having to then sit some of their guys?

Could they escape the Windy City with a win and with the victory of having all of their players healthy, not in the NBA H&S Protocols?

The Miami Heat got another huge win on Saturday night over the Bulls. Another win, inside of that, was getting out of Chicago unscathed by protocols.

Basically and to get right to it, could they beat the chances of an outbreak of their own?

Well, it seems that they have— at the moment, anyway. Here is the latest on the topic from earlier on Sunday.

Outside of the guys that haven’t been with the Heat for the last few games now already and when you add Caleb Martin to that list, being in protocols prior to the Bulls contest, they don’t seem to have any more names to add to the list.

The only assumption has to be that they didn’t return any positive tests between last night’s game and today, Sunday. That’s a great thing.

With a Monday showdown against the Cavaliers, a team that beat them a few games back for their worst defeat of the year from a scoring margin perspective, they need to be as healthy and whole as they can be to get one back against them.

It, indeed, appears that they will be. That’s, at least, relatively so and for as much as they’ve been across their last two big wins.
