Continuing along and when you look at the landscape of professional sports, overall, every sport seems to have its own respective holiday. The NFL has traditionally had Thanksgiving, where a handful of teams play, usually hosting the same teams every year.
Though the NFL has barged in on this day too, the NBA has traditionally owned Christmas Day. That means that on top of what is an incredible holiday, we get fantastic ball games to go along with it.

The Heat have the best Christmas Day record at 11-2. Erik Spoelstra is 8-0 as a head coach on Christmas, while leading them on an eight-game win streak.
Unfortunately, the Heat didn’t make the cut for a Christmas Day game this year. Because why watch the most winningest team in Christmas Day history, when you can watch the 15-16 Hawks play the 14-18 Knicks.
