The Miami Heat are on the second night of a back to back heading into Wednesday night’s contest against the San Antonio Spurs in Texas. Facing off against a dynamic and youthful Spurs bunch, they’ll have to be on their best to beat them.
Though the Spurs are dealing with their own absences, the Miami Heat will also have to make up for the guys they won’t have. While the Miami Heat have Jimmy Butler attempting to make up for everything they’re missing, something he got used to doing in his first season or so with the team, the Spurs might not be able to account for what they’re missing.
Though Derrick White is a darn good secondary version of what the main guy is, he is no Dejounte Murray when it comes to the magnitude of the overall impact. In any event, you look at the fact that they’ll be without him on Wednesday, health and safety protocols related, as a huge plus for a piecemealed Heat team.
Hopefully, Jimmy Butler and the rest of the guys are enough to get it done, but you also have to hope Jimmy is whole and healthy. He tweaked his ankle late in the win over the Wizards on Tuesday.
The Miami Heat got a win on Tuesday but are right back at it Wednesday. Will Jimmy Butler’s ankle be something to monitor heading into the game?
Sadly, you have to imagine that he would have and should have never had to have come back in the game had the Miami Heat were able to maintain their big lead. Unfortunately, they weren’t and he had to come back.
You hope it doesn’t hobble him or worse on Wednesday. Here are the odds for the contest.

Analysis
The Miami Heat are coming off a game on the prior night and though they had to go all the way to the end to close it, they didn’t really exert a ton of energy to get it done. The Spurs are coming off of a defeat and a night off of their own though.
Though that means that it’ll be a tough contest, as indicative by the odds and spread, the Miami Heat still should have the two best players on the court. Tyler Herro and Jimmy Butler will be the best players on the floor for both teams.
Then, out of the next eight guys or so, half of them come from Miami as well. The moneyline isn’t a bad play here.
The game should be a pretty high-scoring one as well, so the total isn’t terrible either. If the moneyline is a good play, then so is the spread.
Mind you, this is all providing that Jimmy Butler’s ankle isn’t anything to worry about. Hopefully, that’s the case.
As always, choose smartly and wager wisely!
