With the Miami Heat roster getting back to some form of regularity, the need for an extended roster has started to die down a bit.

While the opportunity to or the need to bring players back up may arise again, with the unfortunate situation of the NBA’s health and safety protocols constantly looming around any in each corner of the season, it’ll pay off to keep those guys close to the vest if you can.

Well, for the Miami Heat, keeping guys close to the vest was something they took quite literally.

In fact and to be specific, they chose to keep one Guy, in particular, right in Miami as he has been for the last few weeks.

Making room for Kyle Guy‘s newly minted two-way contract by waving Marcus Garrett, the Miami Heat said a few things with this move. The first one is that they have ambitions of competing this year and plan to make every logical move to make it happen.
