Fate And Injury Clears The Way For A Miami Heat Top Seed
Miami Heat: They’ve Dealt With Injury Too, But Can Others Replicate That?
As far as the Brooklyn Nets go, they’re dealing with their only injuries as well. Kevin Durant tweaked his knee after it was hit by a teammate, Bruce Brown, as he tumbled to the floor in a game last Saturday night.
He is expected to miss four to six weeks, at least. While you also have to look at the volatile Kyrie Irving situation, there won’t be much to deduce there.
Irving has already come out to state that Durant’s injury won’t impact his decision or stance on vaccination. So, there’s that.
The Milwaukee Bucks, again, are only two games behind and will challenge as long as there is still life in the season. However, having already beaten them twice this season (losing to them once) and surely motivated after recent Giannis quotes about the Bubble, that won’t matter a ton either.
Basically, the Miami Heat have just as good a shot as anyone else to land that top seed in the East. And with the talent they have to supplement their starts right now, you can be sure they’ll make a tough run for it.
