Miami Heat Rumors: Is Rumor Mill Being Jump-Started By The Opposition?

It’s completely plausible.

While it’s hard to say, one way or another, you have that theory because some of the reports just seem a bit out there or fruitless for the Miami Heat. Why would they tinker themselves into oblivion, when it seems as though they have a team that can compete right now?

Don’t get it twisted, you should always be looking to get better, as you can bet that Pat Riley is. However, that doesn’t mean making a major move or tremendous overhaul— just because.

While you can’t prove it, it wouldn’t be beyond belief that some of these rumors aren’t really emanating from a pure, correct, or Miami Heat adjacent place. Some of them seem to only and exclusively exist— to create seeds of doubt in the current guys.

Hopefully though, guys like Duncan Robinson and the entirety of the roster, for that matter, can continue to ignore the noise and perform to their highest levels. That should continue to propel the Miami Heat along their course into a collision with contention.
