Miami Heat Fantasy Hoops: Recapping Jimmy Butler’s Top-5 Week 15
In a three-game stretch that saw all three contests played at home, the Miami Heat went 2-1 in Week 15. Capped off by a triple-overtime thriller against the Raptors, the Heat players provided decent fantasy value despite the three-game week.
As per usual, Jimmy Butler dominated for the Miami Heat. Ranking fifth in eight category value for the week, Butler did little wrong in his three games.
Elite shooting from the field and the line on high-volume attempts made Butler an absolute monster. Coupled with his averages of 28.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, eight assists, 2.7 steals, and one block per game, Butler had one of the best fantasy lines of the week.
Unfortunately, Butler was the only Heat player in the top-50. Bam Adebayo ranked 51st for the week due to lower-than-usual field goal and free throw percentages.
He should bounce back in Week 16. Look for him to hover around the top-30 mark.
As per usual, Jimmy Butler dominated for the Miami Heat in Week 15. Ranking fifth in eight category value, Butler did little wrong in his three games.
P.J. Tucker continued his run of obscene offense in Week 15. Ranking 62nd for the week, Tucker provided elite streaming value.
Assuming his left knee injury does not cost him to miss more time, which it shouldn’t considering that he played in Toronto on Tuesday, he should remain rostered until further notice.
Gabe Vincent continued to fill in for Kyle Lowry in the starting lineup. While he does not bring as much fantasy value as the starting point guard, he still brought in a top-100 finish.
While Vincent only really brings points, threes, and assists, those categories are some of the hardest to find consistently on the waiver wire. As long as Lowry remains out due to personal reasons, make sure Vincent is rostered everywhere.
Entering Week 16, the Heat hit the road for all four of their games. Most of the Heat players should deliver larger returns due to the four-game schedule, with the only exception perhaps being Butler.
Coming off of a disappointing 177th-ranked week, Tyler Herro should step up considerably. If any managers were frustrated enough to drop him, make sure he is added.
Heading into the fantasy playoffs, a player of Herro’s caliber should never be left on the wire for too long.
