The Miami Heat have had a really good season thus far. Honestly, how many out there could have seen this level of play coming?

Well, some did, however, the vast majority of those out there charged with analyzing, predicting, and hypothesizing on these exact types of scenarios didn’t.

Surprising the league and especially the Eastern Conference, many thought that the Brooklyn Nets and the Milwaukee Bucks would be the sure runaways with the conference— and early.

Giving a lot of respect to the Chicago Bulls here too, not only have them and the Heat exerted their wills over the conference and competition like no one expected, but they’ve been the best two teams in the conference.

Even with that though, all of the accolades, all of the surprises, and all of the highs, there have been lows.

Well, they are only “lows” relative to the “highs” of the season for the Miami Heat so far. They have been hit with the injury bug, they have endured the league’s Health And Safety Protocols (as a lot of teams have), and they’ve seen themselves fall into some of their old habits.
