The Miami Heat got back on track Thursday night with a win against the San Antonio Spurs. It was one that also saw the needed return of Kyle Lowry after a lengthy absence with a personal issue.

To even greater celebration among Miami Heat fans and faithful, simultaneously to them starting their victory in Texas over a developing Spurs squad, the Miami Heat were having their lone All-Star named to the 2021-22 NBA All-Star team.

Announced by the NBA On TNT crew, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, Ernie Johnson, and former Miami Heat champion Shaquille O’Neal, they would, of course, have their say on the selections.

When speaking about who they felt had been snubbed from the All-Star team and based on previously selected teams in prior weeks of the show, Charles Barkley was firmly in on Tyler Herro being selected.

He was also firmly in on something else, something he reiterated during this broadcast. See it for yourself.

Well, Charles Barkley is right about Tyler Herro, where he has been great for most of the year and is All-Star worthy.

The Miami Heat have one All-Star this season, Jimmy Butler. Though Tyler Herro was worthy, if they were to only take one, Jimmy was the right one.

However, he’s wrong about him as well.

The Miami Heat’s best player has been Jimmy Butler. He’s rightfully an All-Star and rightfully their only one if you could choose just one.

Here is an example of why that’s the case, per the Twitter account of the Miami Heat.

When you look at what he’s doing from a numbers perspective and it leaves him among the company it puts him among, then you are not only playing elite ball but some of the most elite ball in the league. Never mind your own team.

While Tyler Herro and several other guys might be All-Stars, as far as impact goes and regardless of the cutesy counting numbers or stats, no one has been better for the Miami Heat this year than Jimmy Butler.

That’s why though The Chuckster is right, he’s also wrong. None of that matters though, as long as the Miami Heat keep on winning ball games.
