The Miami Heat continue their road stretch, heading to Charlotte, North Carolina to take on the Hornets in an Eastern Conference matchup at 7 pm Eastern Time Saturday. The Heat are heading into the matchup with the Hornets, following a,112-95, win against the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday.

The Miami Heat are looking to continue their winning ways and keep momentum on their side before they head into the NBA All-Star break.

Players to Watch

Jimmy Butler, who was named to the Eastern Conference reserves for the 2022 NBA All-Star game, is the main man to watch in this matchup.

After dropping 17 points and recording seven rebounds against the Spurs, Butler is looking to continue to be a factor at both ends of the ball, looking to carry the Heat to another victory. Bam Adebayo recorded a double-double against the Spurs, with 18 points and 11 rebounds, as he looks to keep a recent dominant stretch going.

Kyle Lowry will be another player to watch for as well. After making his return against the Spurs, he only recorded two points, three rebounds, and four assists.

He will look to continue getting back on track and see what he can bring to the Miami offense. Lowry will have to find his form in a tough one, having to match up with LaMelo Ball or Terry Rozier on the defensive end.

The Miami Heat look to create another win streak Saturday, heading to the ‘Queen City’. Can they turn up the heat enough to burn the wings off the Hornets?

Keys to the Game

1. Slow Down Stars: The Miami Heat will have to slow down LaMelo Ball, as he causes problems for the defense on and off the ball. The Heat will have to lock in on the Hornets’ main stars and look to shut them down early.

2. Continue Team Play: The Miami Heat had a total of 27 assists against the Spurs. The Heat will have to continue to make plays for one another, finding the open man for the shot, either behind the three-point arc or in the paint.

3. Stay Out Of Foul Trouble: Miami had a total of 27 fouls against San Antonio as well. They’ll need to keep the fouling down, both overall and especially down the stretch against a potent and attacking bunch.
