Miami Heat: The Poole Offer Is, At Least, A Good Starting Point For Tyler Herro
With Duncan Robinson making $18 million per year on average across the next four years, one could ask if Miami needs to ponder upon locking those two up together. You’d imagine that they don’t want to be in the tax region if they don’t have to.
To be frank, they may end up having to trade Robinson to clear up space, potentially signing a cheaper shooter. With Max Strus having a good year, you may cut your losses if you can, while using him as your main replacement for Robinson.
Having said that though, this isn’t a request, proclamation, or yearning for them to trade Robinson anytime soon, however, business is business. If it helps the team, then that has to be put on the table.
Herro and Bam Adebayo are Miami’s future. That’s the look right now and it’s no more complicated than that.
The pair, Herro and the Heat, are a great fit together. With a contract extension on the horizon, both sides need to agree on a number and hopefully, more sooner than later.
Four for $80 just seems like a good place to be. At least, that’s a great starting point.
