If further reassurance was even needed for a top NBA contender, the Miami Heat are soon to receive it. Now closing in on the highly anticipated regular-season debut of Victor Oladipo, who’s been sidelined for nearly 330 days after a successful right quadriceps surgery, there’s clear excitement for a team with heavy title aspirations.

While the journey has been extended, Oladipo still isn’t cleared for full scrimmages. However, he’s had his hand in participating in reps within the NBA G-League, a critical step forward for NBA stars upon returning from major injury (i.e. Klay Thompson).

While Coach Spoelstra has expressed that the looming return of Oladipo is imminent, it’s been reported that Victor’s return could come during the second week of March.

This will be the second consecutive season where Miami integrates the former two-time All-Star during the final regular-season stretch and if Oladipo is free of any setbacks, the Heat’s projected success would immediately reach a brand-new altitude in a conference that appears as profound as its ever been.

With his return on a fast approach, the Heat have conservatively adjusted Oladipo’s injury timeline after it was once prophesied that he would return during the winter months. Nonetheless, with the obtainment of his Bird Rights, Miami took a Low Risk, High Reward gamble after re-signing Oladipo to a one-year minimum contract.

And you know what? We just might be close to seeing it pay off.
