The Miami Heat are having one of their best regular seasons since the Big Three Era, in which LeBron James led the team to four NBA Finals appearances with the help of his costars in the Miami Heat’s single greatest player ever and a guy that became a Miami Heat Lifer for his contributions, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

Since losing LeBron in the summer of 2014, the Heat have stayed the course and have continued to play basketball at a high level. They made an NBA Finals appearance in 2020, ironically enough, losing to Lebron James.

This year, they have the best record in the East and are prepared to make a deep playoff run. LeBron’s team, on the other hand, has had the opposite story.

As the best player in the NBA, LeBron has obviously had success since leaving Miami, adding two additional champions to his collection. While it seemed like a possibility at the beginning of the season that he could win a fifth championship this year, the odds of that happening are becoming worse every day.

Although James has continued to play terrific basketball, it has not translated into any sort of success for the Los Angeles Lakers.

They are ranked ninth in the West, falling four games below .500.

It is true that the Lakers have been dealing with countless injuries all year. However, when the team plays together, it becomes clear that this is simply not a team that is good enough to win an NBA championship right now.

They are a poor free-throw shooting team that turns over the ball too much. Both are recipes for adding to the loss column.

As frustration builds in LA, people have started to look at LeBron’s future with the Lakers. James is 37 years old.

Even though he is still playing at a high level, his career will soon come to a conclusion. How will he spend the remaining years of his career?

Let’s look at some recent speculation, ideas, and how they relate to a possible LeBron James reunion with the Miami Heat.
