Miami Heat: Kyle Lowry The Ultimate Problem Solver

When you look at things on a surface level, you could point to a game such as the Miami Heat’s last defeat and one of their worst of the year thus far, their last matchup with Milwaukee back on March 2nd.

Not only would Kyle Lowry have been handling the ball and the game flow in a late-game scenario, possibly quelling a Bucks run or even not committing the same fatal giveaways that Tyler Herro did, but it’s still even a bit deeper than that.

Kyle Lowry may have been the guy throwing the pass toward Jimmy Butler on the controversial inbounds play that led to a jump ball between Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jimmy. At the very least, Lowry is on the floor as another option or valve to take the inbounds.

To be more specific and look deeper than just the surface level, Kyle Lowry does point guard things.

Where a basketball player is a basketball player, meaning they should all be able to make the same basic instinctual plays, it means something different to be a true floor general of a point guard. Kyle Lowry is that.
