Miami Heat: Max Strus Has Jumped Back Into The Rotation In A Major Way

Max Strus has also done a really good job of reminding everyone, including his head coach, of just how potent and game-changing his shooting can be in the last two games, both wins, against the Detroit Pistons and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

He would come in during their recent win over Detroit to give the Miami Heat the overall jolt they needed to run away with that one. He would finish that contest with 16 points and three rebounds on 6-9 shooting from the floor and 4-6 from range in just 16 minutes of action.

That’s quite a bit of production.

He would then tag Duncan Robinson out of Friday’s game against the Thunder, who got off to a mighty hot start in the contest himself, to help the Miami Heat easily pull away from a young, scrappy, and athletic Oklahoma City team. That included the bomb of a range shot seen above.

Max has a ton of game and a ton of value that Coach Spo will surely utilize, as he’s no amateur, which he recently reminded everyone of as questions started to surface about minutes and the rotation.

He’s not the only one doing some reminding though, as when it comes to said rotation and minutes, Big Max, apparently, isn’t going down without a fight.
