Getting P.J. Tucker Ready For Postseason The Miami Heat ‘Priority’
The Miami Heat look to be primed to head into the postseason. Peaking at the right time is what it’s all about and after a few weeks back, the losing streak and the incident, being back to where they seemingly are is all you can ask for.
Well, there’s that and the health of the guys that will be depended on to make a postseason run. In the Miami Heat’s last game, that part took a minor hit.
With P.J. Tucker having to limp off the court later in the game, the Miami Heat now have to worry about his status heading into the postseason. That’s the most important thing here and should be.
When seeking an update on his status, this is the latest one from the Miami Heat.
The Miami Heat won’t have P.J. Tucker for the final two games of the regular season and that’s alright. Getting him playoff-ready is and should be the priority.
Hopefully, that’s all long that Tucker will be off the court, but you never do know with any injury.
When it comes to a strain, in general and especially this one, a muscle that’s so important to every aspect of the game of basketball, your legs, running, jumping, cutting, shooting, defending—simply, moving, it’s a scenario that has to be approached with a certain amount of couth and delicacy.
Knowing how important he is to this Miami Heat squad, from a defensive and floor spacing perspective, though his three-point shot hasn’t been the best lately, you want to do all you can to make sure he’s there when you need him the most.
That seems to be the word from the Miami Heat side of things as well.
With guys like Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, James Harden, DeMar DeRozan, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and a slew of other forwards to, potentially, contend with during the postseason, the Miami Heat will need one of their better and more unique defenders in the mix.
With these intentions and this plan of action though, you have faith that things will work out for the better. A little rest never hurt anybody and that’s what it will take to regain enough comfort in that type of injury to get back on the floor.
You hope that it all goes well though and soon, as not having him for any stretch of the playoffs will hurt. Keep your fingers crossed, as everyone collectively holds their breath on this one.
