As the Miami Heat get set to head into the playoffs, they’ve done a bit of fine-tuning and recalibrating over the last week or so. Coming directly off of the incident and a four-game losing streak, they have since won their last six games in a row and will close the season on Sunday in Orlando.
While that will count on the tally for the Miami Heat’s official regular-season record, they’ve gotten to where they may feel like they can sit most of the regular guys.
Though, there is still some good in the game in itself for the team, allowing some much-needed live-action reps and rest for guys as the playoffs get underway.
Heat injury report for Sunday:
— Ira Winderman (@IraHeatBeat) April 9, 2022
Jimmy Butler, did not travel
P.J. Tucker, did not travel
Following all questionable:
Dewayne Dedmon (ankle), Haywood Highsmith (hip), Markieff Morris (hip), Gabe Vincent (toe), Omer Yurtseven (illness).
Does not necessarily mean everyone else plays.
With the finality of the regular season in mind though, you can look back on a few of the best moments of the year, so far. The “so far” is important here for two reasons.
You can’t go back with as much depth as you’d like to at the moment, as you don’t have but a week of play-in games before the whole title run tips off, for one. And two, you also hope you get to add more memories there via said title run.
