Kidd Right About Former Miami Heat Center, But Likely Wishes He Wasn’t

When you consider that Deandre Ayton put up 25 points and eight rebounds to go along with JaVale McGee’s four points, three rebounds, and two assists, it looks like Jason Kidd was right.

Actually and to be fair, he nailed that one.

They are not the Stifle Tower and the former Miami Heat big man that just wants to “get his 2k rating up“. By the way, looks like he’ll need to work on that again.

The Suns’ bigs are something that the Miami Heat might want to keep their eyes on though, a potential NBA Finals opponent who can do work in the middle.

Ayton really thrives in the midrange area though, which would be a positive for a Miami Heat team that features Bam Adebayo as their starting center, capable of guarding along the perimeter as well as he does in the middle.

The Heat just need to keep handling their business though to make this prediction come true. As far as Kidd’s thought though, he was spot on, though he probably wishes he weren’t.
