Miami Heat Playoffs: Keep The Same Type Of Energy In All Scenarios
The NBA Bubble was a fascinating time in NBA history and especially for the Miami Heat. They made it all the way to the NBA Finals, only to lose to, perhaps, the greatest player ever in LeBron James.
A lot of people poo-poo the Heat for their run there, especially in light of the results, however, they don’t talk about the fact that two of their top four players on that particular Heat team, Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo, were shells of themselves due to injury.
No one discusses that.
This isn’t the playing of the tiny violin. It happened and the Miami Heat have moved on from it all to get better.
It is to say this though.
The “what if” game won’t work here this season with the Miami Heat either. Just like all they’ve endured in the last few years to get this point, it’s all a huge part of the game.
What’s good for the goose has to be good for the gander they say. You can’t expect the Miami Heat to accept their fates, at any moment in time and then in the same breath, poo-poo their fate now.
This is a classic case of “keep that same energy”—with Embiid’s injury, with the Atlanta Hawks and them being fatigued, and any other excuses that might come up. Yea, that’s what should be done out there.
