3 Reasons Miami Heat Should Be Favored Over Boston – One Has Been Dominant

Let’s move on to how the Heat have performed in these playoffs. In the first round, they faced the Hawks.

Playoff Dominance

Their defense completely took Trae Young out of the game.

Although he had his way around teams last postseason, the Heat were able to limit Young to about 13 points less than what he averaged last year.

Against the 76ers, the Heat started the series going up 2-0.

When Joel Embiid returned, the 76ers were able to tie up the series.

However, the Heat won the last two games, proving that they were the better overall team.

The Heat won both of these series convincingly and largely without much contribution from Kyle Lowry. Hopefully, he returns fully healthy and ready to go for the Conference Finals.

With him, the Heat should be able to beat the Celtics. Their defense and three-point shooting will be important for this series, but their experience and physicality should give them the edge over Boston in this series.
