Miami Heat: Disappointing Result But They Should Still Be Proud

Extra credit goes to Victor Oladipo and Jimmy Butler. Oladipo only played eight games for the Heat in the regular season because of his knee.

When the Heat called upon him to play in the rotation, he didn’t disappoint. He played excellent on-ball defense and was a contributor as a scorer.

Jimmy Butler must be feeling awful right now, knowing that he had a chance to bring his team to the Finals by making a big shot that he missed late in the game.

While it would have been heroic for him to hit that shot, he should keep his head held high and not let it affect his pride.

Butler had an incredible postseason. His series against the Celtics was exceptionally special.

He scored 47 and 35 points, respectively, after dealing with knee inflammation. Without Jimmy Butler, the Heat would not have been in the situation they were in.

You can’t blame him for missing that shot. Instead, you should praise him for what he accomplished this postseason.
