3 Miami Heat Trades You Won’t Love But Could Help – A Rose From The Big Apple

This one could get a bit tricky, but follow me here.

Trade Three: Miami Heat Receive Derrick Rose, Cam Reddish, And Taj Gibson And Knicks Receive Kyle Lowry And 2022 First Round Pick

For the Heat, the deal sees them pick up a potential young, skilled, and big wing in Reddish, along with a playmaking guard in Rose to play platoon style with Gabe Vincent. Gibson is a contract that is non-guaranteed in the coming season and could be used to make things work if needed.

There are a few on the roster, so this could really be one of three or four different players. It gives the Miami Heat some flexible depth with potentially game-changing wing depth.

The Knicks get a proven player with a postseason pedigree to try and make a playoff push, along with some future draft capital. The trade is so New York Knicks that it hurts.

The Bottom Line

None of these trades drastically shakes up the snowglobe. But each tweak is enough that it could just make the difference next year.
