Miami Heat: Ranking Fit Of Top 3 Potentially Available Stars – Kyrie Irving

Kyrie Irving would certainly shake things up for the Miami Heat and the rest of the NBA.

3. Kyrie Irving

His future with the Brooklyn Nets already seemed questionable, but things started to ramp up when Shams Charania reported that Irving and the Nets are unable to agree on a contract, meaning he might explore the free-agent market this offseason.

Adding Kyrie Irving to the Heat would not be the best decision for Miami. In addition to all of the question marks with missing games, Kyrie is a poor defender.

We saw how his lack of games played and distractions from basketball led to the downfall of the Brooklyn Nets this season. The Heat pride themselves on working together as a team and do not need that type of chaos to sabotage their Culture.

That being said, his talent is incredible without question. He would fill several holes for Miami offensively with his shot creation and shooting.

You could make the argument that a player like Irving would benefit the most from exposure to Heat Culture. In terms of talent alone, Kyrie Irving is the best player on this list.

If you want to add pure talent to the Heat roster, Kyrie is the choice you take. However, he has not been able to be consistently relied upon to show up when his team needs him the most in the past few seasons.

That would be a huge risk for the Heat to take.
