Prediction: P.J. Tucker Stays With The Miami Heat
He will be a big target for teams this offseason and for that reason, he will be one of the hardest players for Miami to keep. Despite reports that P.J. Tucker might join the Philadelphia 76ers next season, I believe he stays.
The Game 7 loss to the Celtics hurt. P.J. Tucker and he seems like one of the players who will keep a defeat like that in his mind to use it as motivation for the next season. For that reason, I believe that Tucker wants to test the capabilities of this Miami Heat team when they bounce back after a tough playoff exit.
He should be back and hungry for redemption with the Heat squad. P.J. Tucker was such an important piece for the Heat because of his ability to do a little bit of everything.
Hopefully, he returns to the Miami Heat next season.
Victor Oladipo
Prediction: Victor Oladipo Finds Another Home
I hope I am wrong, but I believe that Victor Oladipo will leave this summer. Oladipo was out for most of the season but made the most of the opportunities presented to him in the playoffs.
The sample size is small, but the level of play that Oladipo displayed should be enough to draw interest from other teams. In the hope that he returns close to his former All-Star level, I believe that another team will present an offer to Oladipo that will tug him away from the Heat.
The Atlanta Hawks have been linked to the former All-Star, so that would be the prediction for his potential landing spot. The Heat would not have been as successful as they had been in the playoffs without Victor Oladipo.
He has so much more potential with the Miami Heat, he just has to stay there to continue to see it come to fruition. If he decides to leave, it will be a tough loss for them.
