Miami Heat: 3 ‘Enemy’ Players They Could Look At In Free Agency – T.J. Warren

The Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers battled in the playoffs during the Big 3 Era and in the Bubble, but this rivalry is more about the players than the teams.

T.J. Warren

T.J. Warren and Jimmy Butler have had beef. It started in the middle of the 2019-20 NBA season when the two got into a huge argument in one of their matchups.

The last time they faced each other was when the Heat eliminated the Pacers from the 2020 playoffs. Interestingly enough, T.J. Warren has been linked to the Miami Heat this offseason.

The Heat are expected to pursue Warren if they miss out on re-signing P.J. Tucker. If Butler and Warren could put aside their beef, Warren would actually fit well in Miami.

He is an effective scorer who would fill several holes for the Heat offensively. T.J. Warren was hurt for most of the past two seasons.

The last time he was fully healthy, he was shocking the NBA by averaging 27 points in the bubble. Is it likely that he ever plays like that again?

Probably not. But who knows?

If the Miami Heat can get anything like that from T.J. Warren, they would cruise to the NBA Finals. This is the time of year most comparable to the Wild Wild West—because it is.
