The Miami Heat and the rest of the league are about to get active! With free agency about the start in the next couple of days, you never know what may happen.

The Miami Heat have a couple of routes they can take, overall, but could they stand to add another guard to the rotation? For one, Victor Oladipo is a free agent and there is the chance that he could leave for more money or for a bigger role.

There is also a line of thought out there that thinks Miami needs to get more athletic and it’s not the worst notion.

If that is a goal, they could find a guy that could give them some in Lonnie Walker IV.

Walker, a restricted free agent of the San Antonio Spurs, has Miami ties with him going to the University of Miami. Walker is athletic and shows signs of being a good defender.

Depending on where his free agency goes, meaning what types of offer he gets and what the Spurs are willing to match, it could be a nice fit for Miami. Let’s talk about why.
