Miami Heat: Should They Make Lonnie Walker IV An Offer?

Walker’s game in San Antonio has been up and down but that doesn’t mean he’s not worth the risk.

At only 23 years old, Walker should only begin to add to his game from here. However, what he can already provide to a team in transition is worth its weight in gold.

Walker, with a head of steam on the break, is almost unguardable. He also showed signs of improvement this past season, as he added a little more to his game.

Including an elevated understanding of the pick and roll, he’s a good passer and makes all the good reads. Though he isn’t the greatest shooter in the world, he’s still very solid.

Even though his overall shooting still needs work, he has found a rhythm in the middle areas of the floor. He fits Miami’s system, is good from the corners, and is always a threat to go back door.

With the Miami ball and man movement, the passing and cutting, Walker could excel from day one.
