Miami Heat: Ceiling for Kyle Lowry’s role in 2022-23 season – Toronto Kyle

When it comes to him passing up good looks for himself, you just can’t have that from a guy as capable and proven as Lowry.

This upcoming year is a new year for Lowry. The good news is that Lowry is looking at a chance to have a bounce-back season in Miami.

To be fair about the notion of bouncing back though, Lowry wasn’t awful in his first year in Miami. He was just okay though.

In general, you just expect more from him. Let’s talk about what the ceiling and floor are on those expectations for this season though.

Ceiling: Kyle Lowry Of Last Couple Of Seasons In Toronto

You want Lowry to shoot more threes. Lowry attempted 6.1 per game last year in Miami.

In his last two seasons in Toronto, he attempted 7.2 and eight threes per game. Lowry needs to look for his shot more instead of being so passive.

If Lowry can take more transition threes, simply an increase in sheer volume, then it should really help.

He’s a good enough shooter where the numbers will still balance out to a good percentage. Plus, it adds another element to Miami’s offense.
