Miami Heat: Floor for Kyle Lowry’s role in 2022-23 season – Last Season’s Kyle

While you shouldn’t believe he will have a worse year than last year, Lowry was solid this past year, again, to be fair.

Floor: Kyle Lowry Of Last Season

Yeah, he was a step off last season on both sides of the ball, but with recent photos emerging of Lowry looking to be in shape compared to last year, that extra step may be something that comes back as soon as this season.

In the midst of his year-end presser, Pat Riley insinuated that this might be his belief. Here is the quote in question.

"“The bottom line with me and for me as far as hoping you can get the most out of a player,” Riley said. “… You have to be in world class shape, you just have to be. He’s definitely gonna have to address that and it will be addressed.”"

Sure, Lowry might’ve not liked being called out during the press conference but Riley was being honest. It looks like Lowry listened to The Godfather too though but then again, how could he not?

Again, expect Lowry to have a bounce-back season. He has too much pride not to have a better season this year.

Lowry will finally be in Miami Heat shape and because of that, you have to believe he’ll have a little juice back on both sides of the ball. That should be more than enough juice to let it fly more from range.

If he does that, he’ll have no issues reaching his ceiling. And if he can reach his, the Miami Heat might reach theirs.
