Miami Heat: Jimmy Butler Just Reaching Peak Of His Powers

Showing an ability to control and dominate games in all facets throughout his Miami Heat tenure, he’s become able to lead his team from a production standpoint by either being the main scorer or creator.

While he showed an elevated standing as a player in, both, Minnesota and Philadelphia, he’s really elevated things a notch in Miami and perhaps, some by necessity. If nothing else, he had consistent second options in both those places, multiple guys to be honest, and guys capable of being the number one option if needed.

In Miami, he’s been the unquestioned lead dog through it all. The thing that really jumps out at you though is how in this past season, he showed you that he could control, lead, and dominate a game for his Miami Heat squad in any situation.

If you needed him to score nearly 50 points, drop off nearly 15 dimes, or hit the glass for double-digit boards in the process of winning a playoff game, he could and did.
