Miami Heat: Ceiling for Max Strus’s role in 2022-23 season

Max Strus has all the game, let’s not sugarcoat it. Now, he does have to actually get to it.

Ceiling: Three Level Threat And Top Scorer On The Team

He has the ability to handle the rock, attack the paint, and his shooting is elite. He is an above-average athlete and doesn’t shy away from any of the physical aspects of the game.

He does have to continue to work on his defense, awareness and positioning mainly, but he has all of the tools to become one of the best three-level scorers on the team.

Last season, he was able to show his ability to attack the cup with ferocity.

Though again, he does have to get to that more, his next step is to add in a midrange game. That would help to continue to diversify his offensive portfolio, thus keeping the defenders off-balanced, perhaps even allowing him to get to the cup more.

That’s his absolute peak on his role for next year though. Let’s talk about his floor.
