Miami Heat: Floor for Max Strus’s role in 2022-23 season

His floor isn’t what you would hope for, but it shouldn’t be terrible.

Floor: One Of The Best Shooters In The Game

At his worst, he’ll still be among the top shooters in the game. At 6.5 attempts from range per game, he ranked sixth among players with at least six attempts from deep last season.

Overall, his 41 percent mark on those 6.5 attempts ranked him number 58th overall in the league, percentage-wise, while his attempts were ranked among the top 48 players in the game. With his volume and efficiency, that made him one of the upper echelon shooters on last season.

At his floor next season, he’ll still be that. He’ll still be the best shooter on the team, unless Duncan Robinson, indeed, has something to say about that.

Either way, you take either of these, but you hope for his ceiling. Again, with his gifts and physical ability, he could be one of the Miami Heat’s top scorers in the coming season.
