The Miami Heat have vied for another star player, reportedly, for what seems like most of the summer. While things on that front have yet to materialize, it might be time to move on from landing the whale and focus on filling the smaller voids in the roster.

While the options on the free agent market are all but obsolete at this point, they could turn their trade attention to lesser sought-after guys.

In the latest about the Kevin Durant situation, the Brooklyn Nets have made it known that they intend to do what’s best for their organization. From the mouth of the team’s owner, Joe Tsai, has stated that he supports his current coach and front office, people Durant reportedly wants to go if he is to return.

Though Durant’s reported ultimatum and the response from the team owner seems to be all that needs to be known, there is a bit more to it all.
