Miami Heat Should Look To Be In On Durant Deal, No Matter The Circumstances

The Kevin Durant deal, whenver it materializes, should be so big that it should see a lot of moving parts. Not only might those Miami Heat front office geniuses be able to get some things back that they might want, but they may also be able to get off of some things they don’t necessarily want.

Not that this is definitely the case but say for example, the Duncan Robinson contract is too much for them after last season’s showing, it could be a way to move him while gaining a useful piece back in return.

Again, this isn’t advocating for that, at all, as Robinson deserves a chance to bounce back based on what he has done up until this point. He didn’t have as terrible a year by the numbers as he did by what it felt like you saw from him on a nightly basis, however, this is just an example of what could be the case.

Whatever may happen with Durant and the Nets though, as something does appear on the horizon based on the happenings of the last few days, the Miami Heat stand a chance of benefitting from hit.

And as expounded upon here, that doesn’t necessarily mean coming away with Kevin Durant.
