Miami Heat: If Garrett Can Continue Offensive Development, Holiday Is Fair

All of the aforementioned are qualities of Jrue Holiday. He was the missing piece to helping the Milwaukee Bucks become a championship team.

His speed, ability to rack up steals, and score on the other end were a crucial part of the Bucks’ success in each of their playoff series. The leadership he brought to the team helped the team feel that they had another star-level player that they could depend upon.

Marcus Garrett still has plenty of areas to improve upon before he reaches the level of Jrue Holiday. First, he needs to improve offensively, particularly becoming as good of a scorer and playmaker as Holiday is.

Additionally, Jrue Holiday is an All-Defensive NBA player. Garrett is a good defender, but he still has a long journey of development before he reaches All-NBA Defensive status.

Marcus Garrett may never become the type of player that Jrue Holiday is, but you never know. The Miami Heat have a history of consistently developing all kinds of players into unique NBA talents.
