The Miami Heat haven’t been able to make a splash move on the NBA trade market over the course of the offseason. Vying for the services of Kevin Durant, like most other teams in the league, it has since been determined that he and the Brooklyn Nets will try to work their relationship out.
However and after the exodus of P.J. Tucker to Philadelphia, the Miami Heat are still in need of a starting power forward.
Well, perhaps but at the very least, they’ll need to add more depth if they plan to try the guys that they already have at the spot.
With the potential acquisition of a Durant though, not only would that have meant reshuffling the deck, thus leaving them to plug holes around the core that was left, but Durant could have also slotted in as the four-man. Again, that reality doesn’t actually exist though.
Back to the guys that they have already though, that seems like the route they will go at the moment.
