Miami Heat: The Size, Skill, Versatility, And Athelticism Of This Lineup Is Unreal

You knew LeBron James was going to be in this lineup.

Forward: LeBron James

LeBron is arguably the greatest basketball player of all time and he helped deliver two championships to the city of Miami.

James is one of the most gifted passers the league has ever seen, one of the best at controlling the tempo of the game, and managing runs by the opponent. For that reason, he will be the primary playmaker for this starting five.

LeBron James would have dominated in the 90s too. light. Also

Forward: Alonzo Mourning

Alonzo Mourning is one of the pioneers of starting what is referred to as Heat Culture. Mourning was a great rebounder, a great defender, and a great shot blocker.

He adds value to this lineup by bringing his strength, his toughness, and by doing all of the little things that lead to winning basketball games.

Alonzo Mourning played mostly as a center during his career, but he is going to slide to the power-forward spot to make way for another center. Having two giants on the team should give the lineup some size.

And with the versatility of the other three, it shouldn’t be that clogged up at any point. And that’s even with the two behemoths at the rim.

About that second giant though.

Center: Shaquille O’Neal

The Diesel is one of the greatest centers to ever play the game of basketball. No one can truly stop Shaq in the paint without fouling him.

Combining his dominance with the other four players, this lineup becomes truly unstoppable. You don’t need a whole lot of description as to why Shaq is the guy here.

Along with the above details, his career dominance speaks for itself. And this lineup does as well.
