Miami Heat: Norris Cole Would Also Lead The Team In Scoring On The Day

Cole would also lead the team in scoring on the day, finishing with 20 points and two assists while going 3/4 from range. Jeremy Pargo would drop in 15 points, three rebounds, and five assists while two more players would score in double figures for the USA side.

Stephen Zimmerman would contribute 10 points, six rebounds, and two assists, while another former hardship Miami Heat guy, Zylan Cheatam, would give 11 points, five rebounds, and two assists of his own.

The USA team can rest until Saturday, September 10th when they face off against Argentina in the semifinal round. That will be followed by the final round on Sunday the 11th for the winners of the two Saturday matchups, with Canada facing off against the winner between Brazil and the Dominican Republic.

Though nobody knows what the tournament holds for the USA team beyond the win over Puerto Rico, Thursday was a good day. And for Norris Cole, it was a spectacular day, as he was a huge part of it all.
