Miami Heat Version Of ‘Playoff Jimmy Butler’ Has Been Among Best In League

Just celebrating his 33rd birthday recently, yes, Jimmy Butler is the man in question. But again, you probably already knew who the player in question was.

Carrying the Miami Heat on his shoulders for the duration of his tenure in South Florida, though with a lot of help from others at times, Butler has unquestionably been the Miami Heat’s best player.

Toting them to the NBA Finals in his first season, the Bubble Season and with only the first-round Milwaukee debacle in between, he would nearly carry them there again on last season.

He still lugged them to a Game 7 showdown in the Eastern Conference Finals too though, which was impressive and left a lasting mark on his legacy as well, though it wasn’t enough. Here’s the thing and though he was a top two player in the NBA playoffs last season, arguably the very best in fact, that’s not a new thing for Jimmy.

Well, at least since he’s been in Miami. The well gets deeper than that though.
