There always seem to be something in the midst when it comes to the Miami Heat. Whether they are being linked to a certain player, the subject of some rift or righteous moment, or the topic of offseason fodder, the Miami Heat always find a way to be in the headlines.

This time is no different. Per an anonymous NBA executive, the Miami Heat’s point guard situation was a topic of interest.

This particular exec, whomever they may be, seemed to have opinions on who was the better option for the Miami Heat when it came to their, perceived, top two lead guard options.

Must Read. Gabe Vincent has a case to be made for ‘most underrated’. light

Speaking to Heavy.com recently, here is what said unnamed person had to say about Kyle Lowry and Gabe Vincent.

"“Go back and watch them in the playoffs last year. I think the dirty little secret there is that they were better with Gabe Vincent on the floor than with Kyle Lowry. Now, to be fair to Lowry, he was not healthy, that was obvious. But on the other side, they were really good with Vincent in there. He did not play lights-out, but he could get the ball to Jimmy (Butler) and get out of the way, then play some defense on the other side. So they’re fine with him as the backup,” the executive told Heavy."

There isn’t a simple reply, response, or answer to the above take. Though not “simple” in terms of understanding the answer, the answer can be simply stated.
