Miami Heat: Tyler Herro Ready For ‘Whatever Role’ He’s Given

When you think about guys like Victor Oladipo, Max Strus, Gabe Vincent, Kyle Lowry, and even trying to get Duncan Robinson back going in the right direction with his shooting, that’s a deep crop of wings and guards to deploy.

And among those is Tyler Herro, one of the brightest, youngest, and most explosive of the group. Indicative of all of those points, at the top of the offseason, he hinted at definitely wanting a starting gig in the coming season after winning the Miami Heat’s first-ever NBA Sixth Man Of The Year Award last season.

And it seemed as though it might be a thing, especially considering some of the noise surrounding Herro throughout his short NBA career thus far. You know, the questions about his intentions, desires, thought process, mental headspace, and actual commitment to being a great ball player or a celebrity—those types of things.

However and based on something that was said Monday, he might finally be exactly where the Miami Heat need him to be. At least, he’s willing to be there according to this.

This is what you love to hear from any player. This is especially what you love to hear from a guy that is as talented and as, potentially, key to what the Miami Heat want to do as Tyler Herro is.
