Miami Heat: Bam Adebayo Continues To Tease With Offensive Ability

And no, of course, it doesn’t just stop there. As he also does in a lot of moments immediately prior to a season tipping off, he continues to tantalize the imagination of what could and should be when it comes to his offensive game.

Check out this move from some of the early action at Miami Heat training camp.

You first take the battle for positioning against a bigger man, though, likely, not stronger but more of a human being nonetheless.

Then take the controlled catch and posture, prior to the quick and decisive faceup into the triple threat, a position from which Bam Adebayo should be an absolute mauler, by the way.

He then turns again to keep the defender off of balance, Omer Yurtseven here, before bumping to feel him and simultaneously set him up for what is to come.

And just as the defender thinks he has a beat on the rhythm, timing, strength, and perhaps nature of what Adebayo is trying to do—Bam flips the script on him by using his own leverage to get by him and right to the cup off of the quick move as the defender acts on what he thinks he knows.
