Miami Heat: Omer Yurtseven’s subliminal Bam Adebayo observation
Miami Heat: Omer Yurtseven’s Motivation Is Questionable, But His Message Isn’t
Not only is it clear from the outside looking in that Bam Adebayo might be one of their best bets at the power forward position this season, but that seems to be the case internally too.
And that opinion comes from one of the guys who will be helping to make up for Adebayo’s absence at the five spot if Bam is to ever slide down. That would be Heat big man, Omer Yurtseven.
Now, it’s quite the astute observation, either way you look at it, but the source must be considered too. To be more specific, the motivation of the source in this question is worth exploration.
Though, again, Yurtseven is right, as in the fact that Bam is “a 4”, the fact that it would mean more of an opportunity on the court for Yurtseven must be considered. And you know what, you actually don’t mind it.
You don’t mind any of it in fact. You don’t mind Bam, potentially, sliding down to the power forward alongside another big.
You don’t mind Omer Yurtseven, along with Dewayne Dedmon and even perhaps Nikola Jovic, benefitting from it with more opportunity opening up to be that other big. And perhaps mostly, you don’t mind The Big Yurt being forthcoming with his sentiments.
It shows a want to and confidence that you like to see in your players. And as far as his opinion on Bam, that probably shows his intelligence because he’s not wrong at all, regardless of his motivation for saying it.
