The Miami Heat have things to address as they look forward to their second game of the season. Allowing the Chicago Bulls to come into their place on opening night and steal a win, the Heat will want to be sure to avoid an 0-2 start to the young year.

With a rematch against their Conference Finals foe just a year ago set for Friday, they’ll want to be as focused and prepared as they possibly can for that one. To close the book on what was, otherwise, a very bad night for the Miami Heat though, there was one bright spot to it all.

Though he was on the other team and the team that won on this night, again meaning a defeat for the Miami Heat, Goran Dragic once again returned to Miami. And with that return came another proper showing of gratitude for a guy that did a lot during his time in Miami.

Receiving the proper ovation that he deserved from the Miami Heat home crowd, it’s just a different type of reverence you have for a guy that gave his all to the Heat organization.

The Miami Heat were defeated on Wednesday night by the Chicago Bulls. And among those on the victorious side was a familiar face, one Goran Dragic.

Also a fan favorite because of his passionate play, it’s hard not to root for a guy like Goran Dragic.

So, even though he was the opposition on this night and a member of the winning team, this is fine because it’s him. He was also pretty good in his minutes.

Leading the Bulls’ bench in scoring with 12 points, he would also add in two assists and two steals, shooting 4-8 from the field and 4-5 from range. Not bad at all for him and his team, though it was certainly bad for the Heat.

But in moving back to The Dragon, he would show his appreciation for all the love he received. Here was his response.

Now, he’ll have to be as good or better when they come back to Miami in December though, because you can be sure his former teammates want some get back for Wednesday night.
