The Miami Heat aren’t doing so well right now as they continue to look for answers about their young season. Off to a 2-5 start, the good thing about it all is this—they can only improve from here.
And they’ll look to do just that as they lock in for another round of games at home to begin November. But beginning November doesn’t just hold merit for this year’s Heat group for that reason, the chance to start new, fresh, and in the confines of your home building, but it means something significant to the Heat organization and an important time during their history as a franchise in the NBA.
On November 1, 2022, the official end of an era occurred. See for yourself.
After the Big 3 Era, Chris Bosh was all that eventually remained. Though the greatest Miami Heat player of all time, Dwyane Wade, would stick around for another few seasons before small trips to Chicago and Cleveland, Bosh was the core piece for a while there.
The Miami Heat’s success in the ‘Big 3 Era’ wouldn’t have been possible without Chris Bosh’s contributions. And November 1, 2022, officially ends that era.
That was until 2015 when Chris Bosh was sidelined near the All-Star Break with blood clots in his lungs. He would make a return, only to then be sidelined with blood clots again, though in not as serious places as his lungs.
But that’s just it.
Any clots are serious and they were serious enough to end his career in the end. Though it was sad for him, the Heat, and Heat fans, the good thing about it all was that he had already managed to carve out a Hall Of Fame-worthy basketball career between what he had done all the way up until and through the pros.
Here is a look at some of his best moments for the Miami Heat.
You totally hate that it ended that way, but you love the memories that CB gave to Heat fans. From the Big 3 Era to the potential he showed as the standalone leader type piece following that era of Heat hoops, it was something special to see.
Those titles wouldn’t be possible without what he gave and you will always appreciate him for that, along with everything else he did.
