Is It Already Time For This Miami Heat Team To Enter ‘Panic Mode’?

The Miami Heat played their last few games without Jimmy Butler. Naturally, that has made it more difficult to win games.

Still Missing Some Depth

The Heat have gone 1-1 without their star player, losing against Indiana by two points. You could argue that the Heat could have won that game if Butler had played.

Aside from Jimmy Butler, the Heat have been missing a few bench players to start the season as well. One of those players is Omer Yurtseven.

The young big man did not play too much last season. However, he was given an opportunity when injuries to Miami’s starters led to a lack of options.

If Yurt was healthy to start the season, he likely would have had the opportunity to come off the bench in multiple games this season. He would have helped the Heat tremendously with rebounding, an area in which they have struggled so far.

The Miami Heat have also been missing Victor Oladipo. The former All-Star made an impact in the postseason last year with his defensive ability.

There was hope that he could have a full season with the Miami Heat this year. That would allow him to reestablish his rhythm offensively while providing defensive production.

When he returns, the Heat will certainly be a stronger team. That being said, the Heat started last season without Oladipo and still started with a better record than they have this season.

The Heat will need to experiment with the rotation to find something that works moving forward.
