As the Miami Heat get set to take on the Charlotte Hornets at the FTX Arena, they will look to bounce back, following a close loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. By a tally of, 110-107, following a buzzer-beating three-pointer by Josh Hart, they’ll look to finish on the right side of things again in this one.

Here are a few things to watch.

Players To Watch

  • Bam AdebayoBam Adebayo, who is coming off a 16-point performance against the Trail Blazers, will need to come into this game as a factor for the Miami Heat. Bam will need to use his ability to attack the glass on both ends of the court to create havoc for the opponent down the stretch of the game.
  • Kyle Lowry Kyle Lowry, who had a 15-point, seven-rebound, and eight-assist performance against the Trail Blazers, will need to be relied on for the Miami Heat as a court general against the Hornets. He will need to come out shooting on all cylinders, creating plays for his teammates, and attacking the basket whenever he finds the open lane.

The Miami Heat will look to get back on track as they welcome in the Charlotte Hornets. With them at just 3-8, the Heat should be able to get a needed win.

Keys To The Game

  1. Take Advantage Of Injuries– The Charlotte Hornets are coming into this game without a few key players for their team, such as LaMelo Ball, Gordon Hayward, and Cody Martin. The Miami Heat will need to rely on the star power of Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Kyle Lowry to help them win this game.
  2. Limit Fouls– The Miami Heat had a total of 18 fouls as a team, two of which were technical fouls. The Heat will need to stay clear of foul troubles against the Hornets and not allow the opponents to get them there early in the game. That can always hurt a team near the end.
  3. Hold The Lead– The Miami Heat held a 15-point lead over the Trail Blazers at one point during their game. Miami needs to get off to a hot start, gain the lead, and hold it throughout the game, not allowing the Hornets to come back.
