The Miami Heat are officially 20-plus games into the 2022-23 season and it has been a rollercoaster, to say the least. The Heat have been plagued with injuries, rough scheduling, and at times when healthy, just bad overall play.

It was tough to judge this group recently due to the time missed by Jimmy Butler and how it’s affected this team. It mostly has been bad, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

The squad had a tough road trip without Jimmy, but they returned home back to Miami and found Bam Adebayo lifting this team to wins. Not just in a 20-point effort while leading the Heat’s defense, but rather in a dominating fashion, scoring over 30 plus in back-to-back games.

He had been a huge lift the last six games, averaging 24 and 11 while shooting 51 percent on 17 attempts per game. That’s, not to mention, a very much improved 84 percent from the free throw line.
