The Miami Heat still can’t seem to get out of their own way. Especially when it comes to their play in the third period.

Being a traditionally poor squad in that period over the last few seasons, that same phenomenon was the cause of their demise on Tuesday night. Otherwise winning the other three periods by six points total, they would lose the third by 16 points, thus leading to a 10-point defeat.

Though that is terrible and something they need to continue to battle against as they look to get to where they ultimately want to be, there are a few things that seem to be moving in their favor. Bam Adebayo’s continued assertiveness is a positive sign.

But on top of that, another guy that has been potent for the Heat for much of his tenure is beginning to find a rhythm again. Yes, this is not a drill, as Duncan Robinson is hitting a few shots.
